Lehr Purchases Auto Additions On March 02, 2016

Lehr would like to announce that as of Monday, February 22nd, they are now the proud owner and operator of Auto Additions. Auto Additions has been providing carefully crafted public safety vehicles and parts out of their Salem, Oregon location for over 20 years. Auto Additions has served a customer base spanning the geographic region from Washington to Northern California and Idaho to the Oregon Coast.

Under Lehr ownership Auto Additions will enjoy a revised emphasis on parts availability. With an extensive network of quality vendor relationships that Lehr has fostered over its long history, along with the buying power of 5 branches throughout the Western U.S., the Auto Additions team is excited for their future opportunities to exceed expectation for the Northwest clientele. Whether the needs involve an over the counter sale of a performance flashlight or the extensive parts required for a full vehicle build, nobody in this area can offer the inventory that the Lehr team can offer.

Auto Additions has featured a long history of expert craftsmanship when it comes to designing and building the most reliable public safety vehicles. With the added commitment from Lehr that no build will be delayed due to parts unavailability, Lehr and Auto Additions make an incomparable team. In addition, Auto Additions will begin to offer mobile computing equipment through such vendors as Panasonic, Getac and Motion Computing, along with in car video and ALPR systems.

Lehr Auto Electric is headquartered in Sacramento, California with locations in Southern California, the California Bay Area and Reno/Sparks, Nevada. Lehr is owned and operated by Jim Stommel and has been in business for over 20 years. Jim had this to say following the acquisition of Auto Additions, “I have been interested in expanding into the Northwest for some time and the opportunity to bring Auto Additions into the Lehr family is a great match. Lehr will bring some drastically improved parts availability and technology offerings to the Auto Additions team and they will bring a great deal of proven production process to the entire organization. This is a true win-win.”

Look for the Auto Additions booth at the upcoming Oregon Chiefs of Police show in April in addition to an open house this summer.
